This paper use the method of literature,field investigation and interview to discuss how the traditional sports torch Festival of the Yi nationality Hezhang contributes to the development of tourism in Hezhang County under the background of Chinese modernization,and analyze the influence of Chinese modernization on the traditional sports torch festival+tourism model of the Yi nationality Hezhang County according to the data obtained from the research.The development countermeasures of Yi traditional sports Torch Festival+tourism in Hezhang County are put forward.
