Cultivating virtues and morality has become the basic principle of education in the current era.As far as the development of physical education is concerned,many teachers give too much emphasis on the cultivation of students'professional skills,but ignore the importance of ideology and politics,which limits the formation of students'positive value and furthermore their all-round development.The ideological and political education of physical education courses integrates cultivating virtues and morality into physical education,and gives full play to its educational value,so that students can form correct values while learning professional knowledge and help them grow.The ideological and political physical education courses based on cultivating virtues and morality not only gives a new direction for the development of traditional physical education,but also optimizes its teaching and ensure its effective implementation.
