The International Dissemination of Ethnic Wushu:A Comparative Study of Peacock Boxing and Muay Thai
This paper employs comparative analysis,literature review,and case study methods to explore the divergent development paths of Peacock Fist and Muay Thai,with a focus on analyzing the factors that have contributed to the high international recognition of Muay Thai.The study provides theoretical support and practical guidance for enhancing the global visibility and appeal of Peacock Fist.The research concludes that the internationalization of Muay Thai offers valuable lessons for the global promotion of Peacock Fist.It highlights the importance of cultural adaptability,institutional support,and multi-channel media strategies in transforming local Wushu into global phenomena.The proposed strategies suggest that Peacock Fist should establish an international communication pathway tailored to its unique characteristics,which includes creating international professional standards,developing a comprehensive management system,constructing a scientific educational model,implementing digitalization,and building a cultural brand that aligns with intangible cultural heritage.
