On the Oral History of Shaolin Wushu in the Northern Panshan Mountains Based on the Oral History of the Fourth Generation Inheritor Liu Shengying
Tianjin's Wushus have a long and rich historical and cultural origin,giving rise to three major local Wushus styles:"Lost Track Boxing","Blocking Hand Boxing",and"Panshan North Shaolin Wushus".These three styles all originated from Shaolin and are interconnected and integrated with each other.Due to the influence of Manchu and Han culture,a complete technical system and inheritance style have evolved.This article collects,sorts out,integrates oral history,conducts practical investigations,and conducts interviews with experts.Through the oral narration of the fourth generation inheritor Liu Shengying,the inheritance process and technical system of Shaolin Wushus in northern Panshan were sorted out.Based on its unique cultural characteristics,the development path in the new era was proposed.
