The article uses literature review and actual investigation methods to conduct a detailed analysis and summary of the basic operation mode,development,and importance of elderly sports organizations in urban communities in China.It is found that there are still problems in the development of elderly sports organizations in urban communities,such as immature development of elderly sports organizations,lack of basic sports facilities and venues.Specific suggestions are proposed to promote the development of elderly sports organizations in Suzhou and other urban communities,including clarifying the responsibilities of the government and elderly sports organizations in communities,fully developing and utilizing community sports resources,and promoting the construction of community sports clubs.
