An automatic driving map engine model based on high definition map
With the continuous development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry, the degree of automotive automation and technical complexity continue to improve. As important data in automotive applications, conventional navigation electronic maps can no longer meet the needs of high-level automatic driving systems for maps at this stage. Due to the continuous exploration of the industry, high definition maps with higher richness and accuracy have emerged. By comparing the conventional navigation electronic map with the high definition map, this paper analyzed the functions of the automatic driving map engine compared with the conventional navigation map engine and proposed an automatic driving map engine model based on the high definition map. The automatic driving map engine can provide local path planning, fusion positioning, map query, and other functions for the perception fusion, decision-making, control, and other modules of automatic driving. In addition, it can expand the rapid change detection function of high definition maps based on vehicle data, supporting the rapid update of high definition maps. At the same time, the data transmission adopts the secure transmission mode based on security technology processing and commercial passwords, which effectively guarantees the security of geographic information.
