Multi-source data fusion technology based on point cloud
Three-dimensional (3D) laser scanning technology is a reverse engineering application technology. With the characteristics of high speed, comprehensiveness, and high automation, it shows strong irreplaceability. 3D point cloud data has the advantages of diversity, high precision, and complete data. The multi-source data fusion technology enables the point cloud data, image data, and no-load data obtained by different equipment to complement each other, enhance the operation efficiency in different scene environments, improve the structure and accuracy of the data, and make the integration of 3D data of air, ground, and underwater possible. In this paper, the relative accuracy of the data of multiple 3D laser scanners with different ranges was analyzed, adjusted, and fused, and the accuracy of the multi-source fusion data obtained by different fusion methods was verified. As a result, a method of multi-source data fusion was explored to form a general technical process for multi-source data fusion. The results lay the foundation for the research on the fusion method of data and image data of 3D laser scanning technologies with various carriers.
