Outline facade extraction of urban buildings based on multispectral UAV remote sensing
Buildings are important symbols of urbanization and serve as infrastructure and important components in cities. To achieve the digitalization and intelligent development of cities,it is necessary to extract and describe the outline facade features of urban buildings. On this basis,a method for extracting outline facades of urban buildings based on multispectral unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) remote sensing was studied. The visible light camera parameters were calibrated using a template defined by Zhang Zhengyou, and multispectral unmanned remote sensing technology was selected to collect urban building images under the influence of the translation matrix and selection matrix. Point cloud data was employed to display the outline facade in building images, and mathematical transformation matching theory was adopted to transform point cloud vectors, partition, and fit the outline facade point cloud data of the buildings according to features. A fitting function was established using a regularized reconstruction method, and outline facades of urban buildings were extracted in the horizontal and vertical directions. The extraction method design was thus completed. The experiment tested three sets of different types of photography images of urban buildings and verified them in terms of accuracy, integrity, and quality. The new method could achieve high-precision outline facade point cloud data extraction, which has application value.
