Land resource utilization based on remote sensing monitoring of national land changes:a case study of Tongren in Guizhou Province
Tongren City,Guizhou Province was studied by using remote sensing technology and geographic information system (GIS) spatial analysis methods. In addition, visual analysis methods such as land change trend analysis and kernel density analysis were adopted to comprehensively monitor and quantitatively analyze the land change in Tongren City,Guizhou Province from 2021 to 2022. The analysis finds that with the acceleration of urbanization in Tongren City, the area that has undergone land changes in the city from 2021 to 2022 reaches 167.862 km2,and 80.348 km2 involves newly added construction land, accounting for 47.87% of the total change and showing an overall trend of expansion. The change in arable land reaches 66.283 km2,accounting for 39.49% of the total change and showing an overall trend of loss.
