Application of multi-source data fusion in the quality improvement of 3D real scene model
Due to the fixed height and shooting angle of conventional oblique photogrammetry, cavitation, distortion and deformation will occur at the bottom of the established three-dimensional(3D) model or the blind area of the viewing angle. However, the top of the model will be damaged on a large scale during modeling due to the large difference in image resolution between the top and the ground of some ultra-high buildings. Based on traditional oblique photography, this paper integrated ground supplementary photography data and high-altitude cross-surround supplementary photography data to generate the oblique photographic point cloud after fusion. Fusing the point cloud data obtained by the handheld mobile 3D laser scanner to create a high-precision 3D real scene model. The method was tested in the urban area of Fuzhou City, and the results were evaluated from such aspects as the mathematical accuracy of the model, the precision of expression, and scene effect. The results show that the geometric accuracy of the model after the fusion of multi-source data is higher, and the precision of model expression and the quality of scene effect are significantly improved.
