Application of SSW mobile measurement system in 3D real scene construction of road
Road component-level three-dimensional(3D) real scene(3DRS) is an important part of the construction of 3DRS in China. Conventional surveying and mapping methods feature high operational intensity and low efficiency, making it challenging to meet the demand for rapid access to urban spatial information. By integrating laser scanning technology,high-precision positioning and orientation technology,as well as image acquisition technology, the vehicle-mounted mobile surveying system efficiently captures 3D spatial data of roads and produces component-level 3DRS results, which offers significant advantages. This paper utilized the SSW vehicle-mounted laser modeling and measurement system to obtain highly precise 3D spatial data for a total road length of 15 km in Beijing's core area.Based on data from laser point cloud, panoramic images and synchronous high-definition side images, artificial intelligence was employed to automatically extract the 3D vector information pertaining to ground objects on roads.Based on characteristics exhibited by different ground objects within road components, different modeling techniques were applied to establish a comprehensive road structural modeling scheme. Subsequently, the high-precision road component level modeling experiments were conducted, and the accuracy of the results was verified. The results show that the SSW data could meet the technical requirements of the national new surveying and mapping pilot project in Beijing.
