Application of UAV technology in cross-border excavation and environmental monitoring of large-scale construction sites
In order to improve the efficiency of cross-border excavation and environmental monitoring at large construction sites, save manpower and material resources, and reduce the safety risks of managers, the construction supervision of a large pumped storage power station was studied. The cross-border excavation was identified by superposing the land acquisition red line with unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)orthoimages, and the three-dimensional(3D)real scene model of the construction area was constructed by oblique photography of UAVs.Combined with intelligent patrol and image recognition technology,an automatic UAV monitoring system was developed to realize the dynamic monitoring of environmental issues at the construction site. The practice has proven that the above two methods not only meet the requirements of construction management in terms of accuracy but also significantly improve safety factors and inspection efficiency, with obvious advantages in large-scale construction site supervision. This study also provides an effective reference for the application, expansion, and promotion of UAV technology in engineering management
