Application of new fundamental surveying and mapping in digitalization of ancient courtyards
New fundamental surveying and mapping is an important task in supporting economic and social development and natural resource management, constantly improving the ability and level of geographic information surveying and mapping work, and constructing a new pattern of surveying and mapping system.Under the new fundamental surveying and mapping product system in Beijing, this paper focused on the application of new fundamental surveying and mapping results in the digitization of ancient courtyards. The scenic area with three temples and one pagoda was studied to construct a component-level three-dimensional(3D)model of the full scenic area, and the highly repetitive ancient architectural components were integrated into the component model library. With the component-level model with full elements as the data basis, the rendering method and emergency management simulation of the scenic area were studied. This paper also provided case references for the digitization of other ancient courtyards or scenic areas.
