Production of photovoltaic topographic maps in mountainous areas based on image-free control UAV PPK technology
In view of the characteristics of large height difference, vegetation coverage in some areas, and weak communication signals in the photovoltaic field area, this paper proposed a method of producing aerial photovoltaic topographic maps based on image-free control post processed kinematic(PPK)technology. This method firstly solved position and orientation system(POS)data and point cloud data of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)images obtained based on image-free control PPK Technology, and then high-precision digital elevation model(DEM)and digital orthophoto map(DOM)were generated by point cloud post-processing,aerial triangulation of images, and digital differential correction. Finally,DEM and DOM results were utilized to build three-dimensional(3D)models and produce topographic maps.Through two typical application examples,it is proven that the method can fully meet the accuracy requirements of photovoltaic topographic maps.
