Application of new 3D multi-site point cloud splicing technology in protection of cultural relics
Three-dimensional(3D)laser scanning technology is a new type of stereoscopic surveying and mapping technology, which has the advantages of high efficiency, high resolution, high precision, and high penetration. In addition,it has broad application prospects in deformation monitoring, disaster monitoring,3D reconstruction, protection of cultural relics, digital cities, and other fields. This article conducted methodological research on the difficult problems of 3D point cloud splicing technology in 3D laser scanning and proposed a new point cloud splicing method.By using Tianbao Surphaser to splice the scanned data, the accuracy of various splicing technologies was compared, and the corresponding conclusion was drawn. This method could be well applied in the protection of cultural relics and other fields, and it had very important reference significance.
