Building model unitization method based on oblique photogrammetry
A realistic three-dimensional(3D)model is a digital space that presents a three-dimensional virtual representation of the space in a realistic and stereoscopic manner. However, continuous realistic 3D models cannot manage and analyze objects separately. In response to this issue, this article proposed a building model unitization method based on realistic 3D models, which involved layered"cutting"and polygonal geometric similarity determination. The idea of using this method to achieve building model unitization was to first project and process the triangular grid of buildings on different elevation surfaces to obtain the initial contour of the buildings;secondly, the polygonal spatial similarity determination method was used to extract the building contour;finally, the unitization model was rendered to achieve 3D construction of a single building model. This method was validated through experiments, and the results show that it can efficiently and automatically achieve the unitization construction of buildings, facilitating the management and analysis of building objects in the model and providing a certain reference for the entity processing of current realistic construction in China.
