Color consistency processing algorithm for aerial images based on joint global optimization and illumination compensation
In this paper,a color consistency processing algorithm for large-scale aerial remote sensing image design based on joint global optimization and illumination compensation was proposed to solve the problems of uneven illumination and tone difference in aerial image acquisition. The algorithm fully considered the unique shooting characteristics and imaging laws of aerial photography. In terms of global optimization,it accurately estimated the color correction coefficient of the image in the measuring area and uniformly adjusted the color of the image in the whole measuring area to ensure that the correction coefficient could truly reflect the actual condition of the image. At the same time,in order to solve the problem of uneven local illumination in remote sensing image shooting, the local illumination characteristics of the image were analyzed, and real-time adjustment compensation was carried out to further improve the visual quality and readability of the image. The experimental results show that the aerial images processed by this method have significant advantages in color consistency and illumination uniformity.Compared with the traditional method, the proposed method has better processing speed and is more stable and reliable.
