Fusion of oblique photography and 3D laser point cloud data and its application in completion planning, surveying, and mapping
Oblique photography of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)can quickly obtain visual panoramic ground image data in a short period of time, especially suitable for rooftop and ground data acquisition.Mobile three-dimensional(3D)laser scanning, with its flexibility and efficiency, can obtain integrated 3D laser point clouds and image data above and below ground. After converting and matching heterogeneous common points with the same name in space, laser point clouds and oblique data of UAVs were fused to obtain 3D spatial visualization data without dead corners and quickly draw two-dimensional(2D)vector line drawings for completion planning.Based on specific cases,a 3D laser point cloud was used as the reference point cloud, and the fusion point cloud was obtained by translating and rotating a common point with the same name to register the point cloud. The obtained fused 3D visualization data was compared with the coordinate data obtained from the total station, and the accuracy and influencing factors of the fusion data were analyzed for reference. This provided a new solution for quickly obtaining the vector line drawing required for completion planning.
