Application of oblique photogrammetry and 3D laser scanning in surveying and mapping of ancient buildings
Surveying and mapping of ancient buildings are important tasks for protecting and inheriting historical and cultural heritage. In response to the difficulty in collecting complete data of ancient buildings by using three-dimensional(3D)laser scanning technology alone or unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)oblique photogrammetry in surveying and mapping of ancient buildings,3D laser scanning and oblique photogrammetry were jointly used to carry out surveying and mapping of ancient buildings.Firstly,a 3D laser scanner was used to quickly collect the 3D point cloud data of ancient buildings in all directions.Secondly,a UAV was used for oblique photography to obtain high-resolution images of the exterior of the buildings. Finally,by integrating these two types of data, comprehensive and accurate surveying and mapping of ancient buildings were achieved. The experimental results show that the surveying and mapping method of ancient buildings based on 3D laser scanning and UAV oblique photography has high surveying and mapping accuracy and efficiency, which can provide an important reference for the protection and restoration of ancient buildings. It has good application prospects and promotion value in the field of surveying and mapping of ancient buildings.
