Red archives contain extremely rich red genes and are indispensable part of the red genes pool.The Opinion on Promoting the Imple-mentation of the National Culture Digitization Strategy explicitly proposes to"carry out the con-struction of the red genes pool",which provides profound strategic guidance and action guidelines for the construction of red archives resources.Based on literature review and analysis of the principles and tasks of the national culture digitiza-tion strategy,the paper elaborates on the value orientation and multiple tasks of the construction of red archives resources around four dimensions of basic resources,organization and collabora-tion,technological application and supporting sys-tem.It further suggests that the construction of red archives resources in the new era shall be fo-cued on multi-dimensional synergy,digital intelli-gence empowerment,cultural nurturing and insti-tutional leadership.
