The National Archives of Brazil has been practicing the concept of preserving and spreading audiovisual archives through its archival exhibitions. In the long-term practice it has over-come difficulties and formed more sta-ble brand activities, which has had a strong influence at home and abroad. Based on literature review, cases study and website research, this paper sum-marizes the main features of archival ex-hibitions in Brazil which inclue focusing on certain themes and examining com-munities with the help of archives; con-ducting institutional cooperation with congenial concept to bring together re-sources; integrating scenes and explor-ing multiple channels to enrich participa-tion; extending functions to propel teaching and learning. Combined with archives work in our country, the follow-ing insights are summarized: building platforms to promote conservation and dissemination of archives in parallel; ex-panding cooperation to realize resourc-es integration and sharing; empowering teaching and learning to motivate archi-val stories creation and integration.
