The formulation and implementa-tion of the Regulations on the Implementation of the Archives Law of the People's Republic of Chi-na is an inevitable requirement for the construc-tion and development of the socialist archives un-dertaking with Chinese characteristics in the new era.This paper expounds the significance of the Regulations,its main characteristics,the main con-tents,and further discusses how to formulate"the specific standards and management methods for the classification of permanent custody archives"and how to understand and implement the provi-sions that"any internal organization and individual shall not refuse to archive or take it as their own".
