The Specification for Archives Man-agement of Scientific and Technological Re-search Projects(DA/T2-2023)which came into effect on December 1, 2023 provides practical guidance for the standardized management of scientific and technological research archives in the new era. Based on the analysis and introduc-tion of the background and main content of the revision of the specification, this article elabo-rates on the characteristics and significance of the specification, and proposes suggestions for its improvement based on the content of the clauses and the practice of scientific and techno-logical research archives.
