After the victory of the War of Re-sistance Against Japanese Aggression,the oper-ating conditions of Beiping Post continued to de-teriorate,with a significant gap between revenue and expenditure. This situation was the result of multiple factors. From the perspective of income,the Beiping Postal District was constantly plagued by wars,frequent changes in branches and postal routes,and serious obstacles to the development of postal services. At the same time,domestic prices skyrocketed,and postage was consistently lower than prices,leading to a decrease in postal revenue. From the perspec-tive of expenditure,inflation has led to an in-crease in postal expenditure,as well as an in-crease in employee salaries and postal improve-ments. It was also affected by the deterioration of regional and national economies. Overall,the operational difficulties and inflation caused by the turbulent situation were the most important rea-sons for the postal crisis during this period.
