Archives work plays an important role in maintaining social equity and justice,pro-moting social governance and improving public service.On the basis of analyzing the back-ground,objectives,measures and results of the Equity,Diversity and Inclusion Practice of the Ar-chives and Records Association UK and Ireland(ARA),the paper summarizes that it has the characteristics of paying attention to special groups and providing accessible services,carry-ing out training to support the professional devel-opment of association members,actively organiz-ing voluntary groups,and carrying out effective publicity and cooperation.This provides inspira-tion and reference for the related work of com-prehensive archives in China.Namely,archives need to strengthen the construction of accessi-ble information services,promote inclusive pro-fessional education for archivists,expand the ar-chival volunteer team,and actively broaden the dissemination channels of archival services.
