Sports event archives truly,system-atically,and completely record the entire process of an event from preparation to aftermath,repre-senting a valuable archival cultural heritage of the nation.Conducting research on the cutting-edge practices of sports event archives management and development aims to clarify how to achieve intelligent management and development utiliza-tion strategies for sports event archives.Through online survey methods,six typical cases abroad are analyzed in terms of project content,project subjects,technical methods,and project out-comes.It can be found that the current practices of sports event archives management demon-strate the following characteristics:achieve intelli-gent storage based on the security of archival da-ta,construct an archival database driven by needs of major events,provide precise services to specific user groups,and build a management model through cross-subjects collaborative coop-eration.Therefore,the paper proposes optimized strategies for the intelligent management and de-velopment utilization of sports event archives in China:clarifying the intelligent positioning of ar-chival institutions,constructing a multi-subjects collaborative management model,establishing a structured archival database,and precisely identi-fying user needs through multiple approaches.
