The Inner Landscape:Exploring a Path to the Sound of a Novel
For literary reading, the perception of sound is closely related to the subjective imagination of the reader. For a long time, reading habits based on visual reading have largely suppressed readers' acceptance, perception and understanding of the internal sounds of literary texts. In recent years, the study of the literary sound has received extensive attention and discussion from various academic cir-cles. Because of the characteristics of its form and content, poetry can be explored and discussed more intensively. In contrast, the discussion of the novel's sound study is relatively scattered and it is diffi-cult to find an overall grasp. Bakhtin took Dostoevsky and Rebelais as the object of interpretation, and fully discussed the sound study infiltrating the internal parole morphology and formal structure of the no-vel. He has a general vision and care. Based on Bakhtin' s research and starting from the origin of the sound problem, this paper involves the background of the linguistics turn, and examines the possibility of sound represented by living parole and tone as a novel for research.
