The construction of the Grand Canal cultural belt is a hot spot and focus of the current society.Wuxi's urban development is closely related to the canal.By analyzing the overall relationship between the canal and the development of Wuxi City and the key elements to promote the development along the canal in Wuxi,this paper further analyzes the important role of the canal in the formation,inheritance and experience of the historical heritage of Wuxi City from the perspective of cultural heritage inheritance,and looks forward to the future development of the canal and Wuxi City,hoping to provide reference for the same type of urban construction.
