摘要

翻译硕士专业学位注重培养学生的实践能力,学生的翻译实践能动性对于提高其翻译能力和翻译实践效果起着关键作用,但目前相关研究较少.本研究基于社会文化理论,采用定量分析与定性分析相结合的研究方法,探究翻译硕士研究生翻译实践能动性的维度和水平.研究发现:(1)翻译硕士研究生的翻译实践能动性可划分为情感认同、过程控制和自我驱动三个维度;(2)64.9%的学生翻译实践能动性总水平偏低,且翻译实践能动性三个维度间存在显著差异,其中自我驱动维度得分最低.本文可为创新翻译实践研究视角、提高翻译硕士研究生翻译实践质量提供参考.

Abstract

The MTI program places great emphasis on cultivating students' translation skills. MTI students' agency of doing translation practice plays a crucial role in improving their translation ability and the efficiency of translation practice. However, few studies were carried out in this field. This study adopts both quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to explore the dimensions and levels of translation practice agency of MTI students. Major findings include: (1) Translation practice agency of MTI students has three dimensions: emotional identification, process control, and self-propelled force. (2) More than half of the MTI students have a low level of translation practice agency, and there are significant differences among the three dimensions of translation practice agency, with the self-propelled force dimension having the lowest score. This study provides important insights into innovating the research of translation practice and improving the quality of MTI students' translation practice.
