Chinese modernization is an independent modernization independently initiated by the Chinese communists under the scientific guidance of the"two combinations"idea,which is in line with China's national conditions and historical and cultural traditions,and is fundamentally different from western modernization dominated by the logic of capital.It is precisely on the basis of the historical experience and methodology of the"two combinations"that the Chinese communists have shifted their pursuit of modernization from being free and self-reliant to taking the initiative in history.In the theoretical and practical exploration of Chinese modernization,the idea of"two combinations"has contributed to the methodological wisdom of two-way interaction between universality and particularity,regularity and purposefulness,cultural self-confidence and cultural self-reliance,and the two-way interaction between the"soul"of Marxism and the"root"of fine traditional Chinese culture.In the new era,the Chinese Communists with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core should not only follow the general laws of modernization,but also conform to their own realities,and continue to promote Chinese modernization toward the modernization of the comprehensive development of the"five major constructions",toward the modernization of all-round human development,and toward the modernization of open development and win-win cooperation,demonstrating the truth and methodological significance of the"two combinations".
