An Essay on Warehousing in Henan in the Ming Dynasty
During the Ming Dynasty,a large number of various types of warehouses in Henan built a huge ware-housing system,which guaranteed the food security and social stability of Henan during the Ming Dynasty.The source of grain storage in Henan during the Ming Dynasty experienced a process of transformation from buying up grain by the government to donating to the civil society gradually,and from single injection to multiple absorption.In the official and civil long-term practice process,the Ming Dynasty Henan warehousing formed a set of self-con-tained system of diversified management,in the warehouse grain collection,warehouse grain storage and grain stor-age and withdrawal and other warehousing operation process has formed a very strict and detailed rules and regu-lations.Henan warehousing in the Ming Dynasty embodied the importance of private storage capacity,strict storage management system and more built wide storage of grain storage ideas still have a strong practical significance.
