Effective Paths for Casting Chinese National Community Consciousness in Xinjiang Universities and Colleges
The exploration of the path of forging a strong sense of Chinese national community in Xinjiang's uni-versities not only concerns whether the extensive,comprehensive,and in-depth interactions,exchanges,and min-gling among various nationalities can be continued in a higher quality,but also contributes to the establishment of a social structure and community environment in which various nationalities are embedded in each other at a deeper level.National unity,as an expression of ethnic relations,is the basic content of the new type of socialist ethnic re-lations,an important principle adhered to by our country in dealing with ethnic relations,and a basic requirement of socialist society.Combined with the embedded cohabitation of universities in Xinjiang region as an opportunity,the importance of national unity is analyzed,so as to lay a solid foundation for the construction and casting of Chi-nese national community consciousness.
