Experiences and Implications of Legal Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Gansu and Xinjiang Provinces and Regions
Intangible cultural heritage(ICH)is a vivid testimony to the continuous transmission of Chinese civi-lization,and its legal protection is urgent.Gansu and Xinjiang provinces and regions take the spirit of General Secretary?XI Jin-ping's important instructions on the protection of intangible cultural heritage as an oriented lead-er,and increase their efforts to protect the transmission of intangible cultural heritage.A lot of fruitful explorations and practices have been carried out in the areas of intangible cultural heritage safeguarding regulations,safeguard-ing implementation and productive and holistic safeguarding,which have injected new vitality into the development of local intangible cultural heritage.Leaders attach importance to it,the system is sound and firmly rooted,integrat-ing the protection of ICH into rural revitalization and new urbanization,and supporting the construction of villages,towns and characteristic neighborhoods featuring ICH,and the development of rural tourism to help rural revitaliza-tion.
