The Three Elements of Scholarly Cultivation and Their Dialectical Relationships
Cultivation of learning is the foundation of people's life.The accumulation of learning requires the en-richment of knowledge,and the enhancement of cultivation requires the practice of character.The three elements of scholastic cultivation include knowledge and reasoning,mentality and emotion,and realm and vision,which are in a mutually reinforcing relationship.When people do not deal with the relationship between these three aspects in a dialectical and rounded way,there will be a situation in which the three are hindered by each other.Only by ratio-nalizing the dialectical relationship between these three aspects and comprehensively strengthening the cultivation of learning can we cultivate ourselves into talents with both virtue and ability that meet the requirements of the new era.
