Integration of Farming Culture into Rural Schools Contributes to Cultural Revitalization
Cultural revitalization is the soul of rural revitalization,and it is an important tool to promote rural civi-lization and realize rural revitalization.Farming culture is the core of rural culture,but now it is facing the predica-ment of broken inheritance and dying out,which has become a constraint to the revitalization of multiculturalism.Starting from the multiple characteristics of farming culture,such as geographical diversity,rootedness,historical inheritance,and ethnic integration,the article analyzes its potential educational value of ethics,intellect,physicali-ty,aesthetics,and labor from a pedagogical point of view;using the rural school as a carrier,the article portrays its new historical position,reaffirms the identity of rural teachers as"new rural sages",and provides a new educa-tional value of agricultural culture through the establishment of school-based curricula,compilation of cultural teaching materials,and design of cultural events and activities.By providing school-based curriculum,compiling farming culture teaching materials,and designing farming culture activities,farming culture is organically integrated into rural schools,thus cultivating intellectuals who"know farming and love farming"and promoting the prosper-ity of rural culture to help cultural revitalization.
