An Exploration of Qiqihar's Urban History Based on《Hei Long Jiang Wai Ji》
《Hei Long Jiang Wai Ji》is a local journal about the Hei Long Jiang area written by Xi Qing,a Qing dynasty person,which comprehensively records the relevant contents of the Hei Long Jiang general's jurisdiction. The article examines the birth of XI Qing,that XI Qing belongs to the generation of great-grandson of Ertai but does not belong to the direct descendants of Ertai in the family of Xilinjueluo. In the research of Qiqihar city history,the important historical information about Qiqihar city in the《Hei Long Jiang Wai Ji》is refined,including the natural geography,ethnicity and population of Qiqihar city in the Jiaqing period,the setup of officials,folk beliefs,etc. Combined with the《Hei Long Jiang Wai Ji》and other historical materials,the reasons for the prosperity of Qiqihar after it became a generalship of Heilongjiang and the border problems are discussed.
