Culturally Responsive Leadership:Value Selection,Practice Path and Theoretical Reflection
Driven by the increasingly diverse practice needs of school culture,critical race theory and the legislative policy of accountability system and educational equity in the United States,culturally responsive leadership has been put on the research agenda.There are different theoretical explanations for the connotation of culturally responsive leadership.Its essence lies in taking multicultural education as the basic idea and equity and inclusiveness as the core educational value pursuit.The practice path of culturally responsive leadership focuses on critical self-reflection,highlights the development and maintenance of culturally responsive teachers and curricula,promotes culturally responsive and inclusive school environments,and engages students and parents in school management and community activities to address culturally responsive inequities in schools.Culturally responsive leadership reflects the change of the paradigm of contemporary educational leadership,emphasizes the value position of cultural response of educational leadership,and reflects the educational equity of educational leadership theory and practice from a multicultural perspective.
