Research on the Best Practices of Promoting Social Emergency Science Popularization Education in American University Laboratories
Community education suffers from a lack of popularization of social emergency science education. American university laboratories actively support the social emergency science popularization education model and create an ideal social environment of science popularization culture to boost community resilience. There are two key policy motivations for laboratory involvement in scientific popularization promotion. First, the laboratory impact is a fundamental measure for assessing organizational performance. Second, the safety policies and regulations are relatively sound there. Two significant systemic drivers are the university's tradition of encouraging community participation and the promotion of non-profit organizations such as museum alliances. As a result of this, American university laboratories have perfected the design of scientific popularization teaching activities, constructed a large and interconnected science popularization ecosystem, and developed a science popularization attraction experience rich in humanistic thinking. The knowledge transfers from volunteers to target populations, which has promoted the development of safety emergency scientific knowledge in both interesting and artistic directions. The direct dissemination channels include experiential visits, community seminars, public speeches, and the indirect dissemination channels are mainly through all kinds of media.
