The Path Selection of Chinese Education Cooperation between China and GCC Countries for Serving the"Belt and Road"Initiative
"Creating new highlights of China-Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC)countries language and cultural cooperation"is a new task of international Chinese education for serving the"Belt and Road"initiative.In GCC countries,the Chinese education in the UAE and Saudi Arabia have made leapfrog growth in basic education and higher education;the distribution density of Confucius Institutes,which have played an important role in the development of local Chinese education,is high,but varies greatly by country;the foundation of Chinese language education is weak,and the UAE has started a new model of Chinese language education with setting up the Chinese School Dubai.The high-level cooperation mechanism,the practical cooperative relationship and friendly culture exchanges between China and GCC countries have provided favorable conditions for Chinese education cooperation.At the same time,there are also difficulties such as the weak position of Chinese education,insufficient allocation of Chinese education resources,and low regional integration of Chinese education.In the future,China and GCC countries will take dual-drive and double-bond as an important way,by further strengthening intergovernmental exchanges,adopting the regional development strategy of"fulcrum radiation",increasing the allocation of international Chinese education resources,and promoting a new paradigm of"vocation+Chinese"education,so as to deepen China-GCC countries language and cultural cooperation.
