Connotation,Significance and Practical Strategies of Inclusive Lifelong Learning——An Analysis Based on Bali Manifesto:Embracing Inclusion—A Roadmap to Lifelong Learning for All
In the face of the challenges of climate change,demographic change and digital transformation,the value of inclusive lifelong learning is further highlighted.To this end,from 3 to 6 July 2023,the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning,in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia,organized a conference in Bali on How to make lifelong Learning inclusive and launched the Bali Manifesto:Embracing inclusion—A roadmap to lifelong learning for all.The Bali Manifesto aims to translate the vision of inclusive lifelong learning outlined in the Summit on Transforming Education and the Marrakesh Framework for Action into practical strategies.Based on that,The Bali Manifesto calls for building an inclusive lifelong learning ecosystem from four dimensions:inclusive learning environment,inclusive social structure,inclusive lifelong education policies and inclusive learning methods,improving inclusive skills development mechanisms that are integrated and lifelong,establishing coordinated and responsible governance mechanisms,and improving monitoring,accountability and public investment.
