Teacher Education Cooperation from the Perspective of China-Central Asia Community with a Shared Future:Missions,Difficulties and Pathways
Teacher education is a fundamental and important support for China and Central Asian countries to promote practical cooperation in the field of education,enhance cultural exchanges,and connect people's hearts. Since the introduction of the Belt and Road Initiative,the cooperation between China and the 5 Central Asian countries have continued to improve and upgrade,and the concept of "China-Central Asia community with a shared future" has become a consensus. However,China-Central Asian teachers' education cooperation is still in its infancy,the regional education cooperation is also facing profound challenges,including Central Asian countries' increasing demand of China's education and the intensifying external competition in education cooperation;talents shortage in Central-Asian languages;and ineffective policy support for regional cooperation in education. To promote the quality development of education cooperation in the future,the administrative departments for education,universities and other stakeholders should emphasize the alignment of the development strategies of each country,develop digital intelligent teaching models,pay attention to the construction of teachers' language ability construction,consistently improve the system of regional education cooperation and promote the modernization of the education.
