Towards Multispecies Justice:Shift in Goals and Practical Strategies of Forest Education in Germany
In the context of global educational governance,"multispecies justice" holds contemporary significance and is deeply rooted in anthropological foundations.Forest education,in this regard, serves as a crucial pathway towards realizing "multispecies justice." Since the shift of goals towards "multispecies justice" in German forest education, practical strategies have emerged in three key areas:establishing equitable relationships among species, exploring contact zones between species, and reconstructing actor networks among species. These strategies position humanity within a broader ecological system where there is no central control system, but all species co-create,inscribe,and weave together a shared chronotope and planet. This transcends anthropocentrism and aids in breaking away from the binary narrative of "center-periphery" which confined solely to human interests.Within the educational domain, the holistic perspective of "multispecies justice" reminds us that the objectives of education should extend beyond humanity itself, closely embracing ecological symbiosis.
