A Discussion on Deepening Comparative Education Research under the Context of High-level Educational Opening-up
Deepening research in comparative education is of great value in constructing a vibrant theoretical system, serving as a crucial academic pathway to enhance the explanatory and guiding power of comparative education.Reflecting on the current situation of comparative education research in China,it is evident that there are issues such as overemphasis on static textual analysis and forced theoretical interpretation. To break away from textualism,it is necessary to critically examine the authenticity of textual knowledge, thereby transcending surface texts and achieving bidirectional verification and profound integration between textual knowledge with factual knowledge. To break through theoretical nesting,it is required to follow the logic of reality and to refrain from reversing the order of cognition and practice.Under the context of high-level educational opening-up,the prominence of embodied cognition, cultural contextuality, and interactive discourse has provided invaluable opportunities for deepening the study of comparative education.Based on this,we introduce a research perspective of "living" institution, which focuses on the flexible space between static institutional regulations and dynamic real-world needs. This perspective provides a profound insight into the "human" behind the institutions and the institutional culture they rely on,enabling a vivid grasp of institutions within their actual operational pathways. Ultimately, this approach aims to propel comparative education research towards more profound development.
