Comparative Analysis of Mountain Pond Image Space in the Shuiquan Courtyard
The Shuiquan courtyard of the Biyun temple has a small area, but there are two mountain ponds. One is located in the middle of the southeast side of the courtyard, and the other is located in the west end of the courtyard axis. Through the methods of site survey, plan analysis, case comparison and ancient and modern comparison, the mountain pond image space in the Shuiquan courtyard is sorted out from two aspects of spatial cognition and space construction, and the layout and orientation, spatial characteristics, spatial transition, coordinated arrangement of garden elements and landscape construction methods of the two mountain pond image space in the courtyard are summarized. The spatial design method of two different mountain pond images in the courtyard is summarized in the paper.
