Renewal Strategy of Yirenfang in Luoyang from the Perspective of Historical Spatial Narrative
Exploring narrative resources is the key to the organic renewal and revitalization of historical areas, and the imbalance between the planning and construction of material and non-material elements can easily lead to the waste of narrative resources. The theory of spatial narrative advocates restoring the spatial context and organizing multiple urban events that occur over time to converge simultaneously in space, effectively addressing this issue.Based on the spatial narrative theory,a study on the Yirenfang historical area in Luoyang,Henan province, which is a typical representative of Luoyang Lifang,is conducted.Through narrative design,it creates a public space that is both narrative and easily recognizable, with a view to revitalizing economic vitality, revitalizing historical culture, and revitalizing spatial value in historical areas.
