Research on Pattern Language in Traditional Village Changyucheng,Changping District,Beijing
Military fortress village is a unique type among many traditional villages in China,and it is the embodiment of the development of military system in different times.Its unique spatial characteristics are the important content of village research.Changyucheng village in Changping district of Beijing is a military fortress in the defense system of the west of Beijing in Ming dynasty,which shows different spatial forms in different historical periods.The academic circles have sorted out the history of Changyucheng village comprehensively,but the research on the unique space in the village and its forming factors is weak.Therefore,the historical evolution of villages through literature review and field research is sorted out firstly,and then the architecture pattern language theory of American scholar Alexander is borrowed to extract and study the pattern vocabulary of villages at different scales of macro,meso and micro,and connect the influencing factors of"events"such as human activities and needs with specific"spaces"to analyze the characteristics of spatial patterns in depth.It provides theoretical supports for the protection and utilization of similar military fortification traditional villages.
