Interpretation of the Concept of Science and Technology Security from the Perspective of the Overall National Security Concept
Technological security is an important component of national security. The study of theoretical concepts is the fundamental way to analyze and solve practical problems in the field of technology, and the concept of technological security lays the theoretical, methodological, and paradigm foundations for related research, directly affecting the specific direction of practice.Starting from the concept of technological security, this article reviews the theoretical evolution process of the concept of technological security and provides a brief analysis, which helps to enrich the significant theoretical basis of technological security practice.Research has found that the general concept adopts a definition approach consistent with national security related concepts, concretizing the characteristics of technological security through aspects such as technological systems, technological requirements, external threats, and security capabilities.Although this concept has considerable rationality and necessity, there are still issues such as limiting the scope of protection for technology types and national interests,one-sided judgment of threats faced by technology, and a single summary of the ability to ensure the security status of technology.Accurately defining the concept of technological security from the perspective of overall national security requires necessary revisions to the general concept and a comprehensive understanding of its nature, premises, and terminology.
