Daisaku Ikeda's View of China and Its Contemporary Value
Daisaku Ikeda,a Japanese thinker, analyzed the predicament of modern western civilization from a global perspective, examined China in the context of the crisis of Western modernization, and visited China many times to learn more about China. From the clues of the evolution from tradition to modernity,we can see the multiple aspects of Ikeda Daisaku's view of China:On the one hand,Ikeda Daisaku captures the modern significance of the Chinese historical tradition of"putting people first";on the other hand,he expressed appreciation for the CPC's historical ideological revolution based on tradition since the founding of New China, its focus on the spiritual transformation of the people and the party itself, its flexible use of Marxism in line with the needs of the times, and its creation of pluralistic value modernization based on the principles of safeguarding sovereignty and unity and independent development. In order to understand why Chinese modernization must go its own way,we must adhere to the"second combination"as the direction of guidance, adhere to the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and give some inspiration and reference.
