An Analysis of the Poetic Flaw in Modern-style Poetry Masterpieces—On the View of"Poetic Flaw"among the People of Song and Yuan Dynasties
Many highly renowned ancient modern-poetry works have varying degrees of poetic flaws.Exploring the reasons can help grasp the creative concepts of ancient people,objectively evaluate their works,and guide modern-style poetry creation.There are three reasons for this phenomenon:masterpieces become classics first,while the concept of"poetic flaw"is formed later;the ancients combined the poet's identity and the context of their works to view poetic flaws,and showed more tolerance for the avoidance of form in the eyes of later generations;the reasons why a poem becomes a masterpiece are complex and diverse,and the reader's reading process and the transmission characteristics of the poem"using sentences to name articles"may weaken and avoid the influence of some poetic flaws in the text.The phenomenon of the existence of poetic flaws in famous works reveals the different concepts of poetic flaw between Song and Yuan people and modern people,as well as the differences in the system of poetic creation and reception.
