摘要
在"加强教材建设和管理"的国家战略背景下,本研究通过典型个案抽样方法分析了一套权威且具有代表性的"十四五"职业教育国家规划英语教材,发现该教材正在逐步落实新课标的要求.研究发现:不同地域与国家的文化呈现强度由高到低依次是中华文化、英语国家文化(主要是美国文化)、其他国家文化、共有文化、对比文化(主要是美国与其他国家文化的比较);文化形式多样,以文化物质产品为主,其次是文化实践、文化观念,而文化精神产品、文化人物和文化社群呈现强度低;显性呈现和隐性呈现比例相对均衡,英语国家以文化语篇的显性呈现为主,且文化理解练习较多,相比之下,中华文化则以文化知识板块、文化表达练习和语言练习为主.本研究对于深化外语教材建设与研究,推动职业教育国家规划英语教材的选、编、用、监、评等各个环节工作的深入开展具有重要意义.
Abstract
In the context of the national strategy of"strengthening the construction and management of teaching materials,"this study analyzed a collection of national planning textbooks for vocational education in the national 14th Five-Year Plan through a typical case sampling method,and found that the textbooks are progressively implementing the requirements of the new curriculum standard.The result shows that,the intensity of culture presentation in different regions and countries is in descending order:Chinese culture,English-speaking cultures(mainly American culture),cultures of other countries,shared cultures,and contrasting cultures(mainly comparisons between American culture and other national cultures);the forms of culture are diverse,with cultural material products being the main ones,followed by cultural practices and cultural perspectives,and cultural spiritual products,cultural persons and cultural communities being presented with low intensity;the ratio of explicit and implicit presentation is relatively balanced,with English-speaking countries presenting mainly cultural discourse and more cultural comprehension exercises.In contrast,Chinese culture is dominated by cultural knowledge focus,cultural expression exercises and language exercises.This study is of great significance in deepening the construction and research of foreign language teaching materials,and promoting the in-depth work of selecting,compiling,using,supervising and evaluating the nationally planned English teaching materials for vocational education.
